Imelda Adams was born and raised in a small town at the western tip of Jawa Island called Cilegon. In 2020 graduated from the communication science of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. I began my artistic journey in 2012 with my first show. Since that time I participated in various group shows.
With pastels colours somber and characters named as Gacon, I freed myself to create anything objects that appeared as cute, elastic, colorful and have a tendency with my childhod memory. I uses my creative practice to potray my emotions, and tell stories came from personal experience. I am passionate about psychology and spirituality. I am exploring about how humans interact intrapersonally and interpersonally, how life and society impact our lives, and how nature works sustainably. My works of art are manifestation and representations of life, potrayed in a colorful and sarcastic way with a constant presence and the easy, the tragic and the funny. In art i found sincerity, honesty and trust. It makes my heart as broad as the sky, and nothing will ever break it.
